TOP TREATMENT PRODUCT PAGE- LET US MAKE OR PROVIDE YOUR PERFECT WINDOW COVERING SOLUTION

SOFT TREATMENTS- Soft Treatments are products created from your vision, and hand crafted by Top Treatment.  They are usually C.O.M. (Customers Own Materials), though we can provide fabrics for you!  Sheers, Linings, and Interlinings are commonly provided by Top Treatment to accompany your C.O.M. materials.  Soft Treatments include but are not limited to Drapery, Valances, Swags, Cascades, Roman Shades, RTB's (Rod Top and Bottom), Upholstered Cornice Boxes, Custom Headboards, Bed Spreads, Bed Skirts and Dusters, and Pillows.  If it moves or is functional, it can be motorized.

Drapery- Drapery is the classic industry staple and is just as relevant today as it was in days of old.  Use drapery as functional light/ sun control, or as a decorative frame around a window.  Drapery can be personalized to accommodate any style preference with different Headings, Pleat Styles, Fabrics, Trims, Decorative Hardware, or mount under a top treatment or valance. Drapery can be operated Manually or by Motor

Drapery Hardware- Hardware can be just as eye catching and exciting as the drapery itself.  Choose wood poles or iron, manual or motorized in a plethora of colors, finishes, and stains.  Add decorative brackets, finials, and holdbacks to provide your own personal touch.  Top Treatment carries a vast array of hardware options for you to choose from!

Valances- A decorative length of fabric used to beautify the top of a window or canopy bed, or cover unsightly drapery, shade, and blind tops and hardware.  Numerous styles and options to choose from such as Kingston, Pleated, Inverted Pleat, Shirred, Shaped, and many others.  All valances are made custom and do not come from a template.

Swags and Cascades-  the definition of a Swag is a curtain or piece of fabric fastened so as to hang in a drooping curve. A Cascade has reference to a waterfall that falls in stages or steps down a slope.  As fabric treatments put together, they compliment each other displaying a form of window treatment that defines elegance like no other.  Unlike many workrooms that use a manufactured 'swag making machine", we make all of our swag treatments by hand which creates a much more natural flowing look.  These treatments can be on their own or accompanied with a drapery treatment.

Roman Shades- a versatile and extremely functional window treatment, romans can find a proper place almost anywhere.  Roman Shades come in many different style options, but always fold into pleats when opened.  Unlike mass produced Roman shades, we manufacture every shade based on its own custom mathematics to make sure all pleat sizes are equal.  We also use a grommet pleating method which provides a more elegant and natural look.  We will make shades as desired upon request.  They can come flat, pleated, soft fold, with droop, bottom up, top down.  Controls can be cord lock, cordless, cord loop, and motorized.

RTB's- Rod Top and Bottom is a shirred (gathered) treatment with a pocket on top and bottom where a rod goes through.  you can add a tie band or rope to create an hourglass shape.  This treatment is normally a stationary solution for privacy.

Cornice Boxes- An Upholstered Cornice Box is a great way to accent the top of a window while being able to mount any type of window treatment underneath.  Straight or Shaped, materials and trims of your choice.  Each Shaped Cornice is first drawn to scale to insure that boxes of the same shape with different sizes look appropriate respectively.

Headboards- We build and Upholster Custom Fabric Headboards.  If you can dream it, Top Treatment can probably make it. Shapes, Trims, Multiple fabrics, Tufting, there are so many options.

Upholstery Services- Whether you'd like to customize a new couch, or give new life to a family heirloom, like custom window treatments, upholstery is an art form.  At Top Treatment we will not allow the era of quality and craftsmanship fade away.  Call us to make your furniture one of a kind, just like you.

Bed Spreads- Make the bed a focal point of any bedroom.  Bedspreads can be Throw, Fitted, or Split Corner with Tongue.  They can be Quilted, Tufted, or Pleated.  They can have two sides, and include trim, banding, or flange.

Bed Skirts and Dusters- A great way to cover a box spring,  accentuate the bottom portion of a bed, or add the finishing touch to a bed treatment.  They can come in many different styles, using any fabric, trim, or banding you desire.  They can be designed to work with any type of bed or bedframe.

Pillows- Pillows can come in many different shapes and sizes.  They can have trims, flanges, buttons, and contrasting fabrics.  They can have multiple types of firmness and fill options.  Top Treatment can make them all for you.

HARD TREATMENTS- We generally consider hard treatments as blinds and shades that are not manufactured in our facility, but instead by one of our Industry Partners.  Though some of these treatments do have "fabric" choices, they are not C.O.M. and usually are chosen from a specific vendor sample book or website.  Hard Treatments include but are not limited to Solar and Roller Shades, Woven Wood Shades, Grass Weave Shades, Sheer Shades or Silhouettes, Sheer Vertical Shades or Luminettes, Cellular Shades or Honeycomb Shades or Duettes, Bass Wood Blinds, Faux Wood Blinds, Mini Blinds, Vertical Blinds, and Shutters. If it can function or move up and down, side to side, or tilt, it can be motorized and automated.

Blinds VS Shades- By definition, the difference between blinds and shades is simple.... A shade consists of a single or continuous piece of material that functions in a vertical, up and down fashion.  A blind by definition is multiple pieces of material acting as a unit to tilt or lift in a vertical or horizontal fashion.

Solar/ Roller Shades- The popularity of these shades has increased dramatically in recent years due to their simplicity, ease of function, and extreme diversity.  There are endless choices of fabrics which provide glare control, heat control, and light control options from see through screens, to zero light blackout.  They can be used in Residential, Commercial, Hospitality, and Healthcare applications.  They can be used by themselves or to compliment a soft treatment.   Controls can be cordless, cord loop, and motorized.  Shades function up and down as the fabric rolls onto a horizontal metal tube.  Top Down and skylight options are available.

Woven Wood Shades- Also known as Bamboo Shades, these shades add warmth and combine function with lifestyle.  Coveted for their laid back and relaxed "beachy" look, they are a great choice for home, office, or hotel.  Order them unlined to enjoy their organic light filtering abilities, or add a liner for light control or privacy.  Typically function as a pleated "Roman Style" shade, control options can be cord lock, cord loop, cordless, or motorized.  Keep in mind these fabrics are very natural, and inconsistencies are common and appreciated.  Shades function up and down, or fabric can be used as a drapery treatment.  Top down option is available.

Grass Weave Shades- Similar to a Woven Wood shade, these shades share all the same characteristics of function.  Difference is fabric.  Fabric choices with these shades are more of a "grass type' than a "bamboo type".  They tend to be a little less bold visually.   Keep in mind these fabrics are very natural, and inconsistencies are common and appreciated.

Sheer Shades/ Silhouettes- A beautiful way to provide light control while maintaining a softer styling.  Using a specially designed material with two layers of sheer fabric and translucent or room darkening vanes in between, these shades create multiple options for privacy and light control. Vanes open allow some light dampening while still being able to view outside.  Or close the vanes to initiate privacy or darkening.  Vanes are Horizontal and have optional sizes.  Shades function up and down, similar to a roller shade.

Sheer Vertical Shades/ Luminettes- Using the same fabrics as sheer shades or Silhouettes, these shades offer vertical vanes and function in a side to side fashion similar to a drapery treatment.  Vanes can be opened and closed to creat privacy and light control options.

Cellular/ Honeycomb/ Duette Shades- The versatility of functional options for this product has increased its popularity in recent years. Top Down, Bottom Up, and Multiple fabrics combined in one shade make it a very attractive choice when choosing a window covering.  The cells capture air inside and create an insulation quality that benefits year round.  Many different fabrics, colors, and control options are available.

Shutters- In the days when our ancestors, grandparents, and parents actually built their own homes and furniture, they would in addition find ways to create a light control and privacy solution to their windows.  Hence was developed the idea of shutters.  To this day shutters remain a clean and classic addition to any home or usable space.  Every Shutter is built to order, with options of classic wood or blown molded plastic.

Bass Wood Blinds- (Tilia Americana)  Desired for their clean craftsman style look, these blinds are made of "real wood" and function with tilting vanes, and "open or close" in a horizontal or vertical operation. This product can be a monetarily reasonable alternative to Shutters and offer more functionality .  Choose from many different paint or stain color options.  Can be controlled manually or by Motorization.

Faux Wood Blinds- Like their Bass Wood counterpart, these blinds offer function and class at an affordable price.  Even more affordable than Real Wood Blinds, these blinds are usually made from PVC, are long lasting, scratch, sun, and moisture resistant.  Choose from many different paint or stain color options. Can be controlled manually or by Motorization.

Mini Blinds- Offered in 1" and 2" Versions, these blinds are part of the horizontal blind family.  Mini Blinds function in the same manner as a wood blind with tilting vanes and up and down function, but are made with aluminum slats.  These slats come in a wide variety of paint colors.  A mini blind is typically your most affordable window covering solution.

Vertical Blinds- Like there name says, these are blinds with vertical vanes.  "Verticals" tilt left and right as well as open sideways.  These blinds can be Left Stack, Right Stack, Center Stack, or Center Open.  Verticals Blinds come in a wide variety of vane types such as PVC, Aluminum, and Faux or Basswood.  You can also add a sheer fabric to these blinds to "class" them up a bit.  These window coverings are very functional, widely used, and affordable.

Awnings- Primarily an outdoor treatment, an awning can provide sun and weather protection for indoor and outdoor needs.  Stationary or Functional, awnings come in many different shapes, sizes, and fabric/ color options.  Awnings can be controlled manually or by motorization with the push of a button.  Turn your outdoor patio into a comfortable summer living space, or add an awning over your front door to protect yourself and visitors from the elements.  Whether it be to beautify the outside of your building/ home, or for a functional use, an awning can be a great option.

Outdoor Shades/ Drop Shades/ Patio Enclosures- There are numerous outdoor shading, privacy, and security solutions to explore.  From an outdoor drop shade to a full patio enclosure to protect from the elements, or ensure a child's safety.  Contact us and we can walk you through options to provide you exactly what you are looking for.

MOTORIZATION AND AUTOMATION- Motorized Window Coverings have been around for many years, but with technological advances, motorization has become more affordable, more versatile, and much quieter.  Today we can control almost every type of window covering available.  There are low voltage DC powered and battery motors, as well as AC motors that can be hardwired or simply plugged in to a standard 110 volt wall outlet.  Near silent motors can be controlled by wall switches that look like a light switch/ push button, to hand held remotes, to apps from your smart device where you can control your window coverings from anywhere in the world!  There are timers to control your shades at hours you select, wind sensors to protect your outdoor awnings and shades from high winds, sun and heat sensors to control natural light and protect indoor furnishings.

Automation of window coverings means in a sense to give motors and shades "intelligence".  By integrating shades to automation systems such as Animeo, SDN, Lutron, Crestron, Control 4, you gain the ability to control shading systems through the use of sensors and timers throughout a building to decrease heating, air conditioning, and electrical cost by up to 30%!  Not only can you decrease operating costs, but study's prove that automation in the work environment has benefits to a healthier human condition and increased productivity!
